What is included,
and what is not.

Most holiday disappointment is not the destination. It is discovering at check-in that transfers, resort fees and the excursion everyone was looking forward to were never in the price.

How we work

A Florida agency, and an agent not a supplier

Oh The Places Travel LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L18000093021, filed in 2018, and is registered as a Seller of Travel with FDACS under [FLORIDA SELLER OF TRAVEL REGISTRATION NUMBER].

We book travel as agent for the airlines, hotels, cruise lines and operators who actually provide it, and their terms govern your booking. We are not liable for a supplier's insolvency, cancellation or schedule change, which is precisely why we recommend travel insurance on every trip — arranged through licensed providers, since we are not an insurer or an insurance agent. Passports, visas and entry requirements remain the traveller's responsibility; we will flag what we know of, but no agent can guarantee entry to a country.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Why use an agent when I can book online?

For simple trips, often you should, and we will say so. The value is in complicated itineraries, groups, cruises where the advertised price is not the real one, and having someone reachable when a flight cancels at midnight.

Do you charge a fee?

Any planning fee is agreed before work starts and stated in the quote. We will also tell you when we are paid a commission by a supplier.

Should I buy travel insurance?

Yes, and we recommend it on every trip. We are not insurers and cannot advise on policy coverage, so read what it actually covers — particularly supplier insolvency and pre-existing conditions.

What if the cruise line or tour operator goes bust?

That is the risk travel insurance and payment method protections exist for. We are an agent, not the supplier, and cannot be liable for their insolvency — which is why we raise it before you book rather than after.

Who sorts out my visa?

You do, though we will tell you what we know is required. Entry requirements change and no agent can guarantee a country will admit you — check passport validity rules too, as six months is commonly required.

Can you beat the price I found online?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. We will quote the real total including what the online price leaves out, which is a fairer comparison than it first appears.
